Elevator
Rising more than 2,700 feet (828 m) above the Indian Ocean, the Burj Khalifa is the world’s tallest structure.

It is served by 57 elevators moving at speeds of up to 22 mph (10 m/sec). Operating conditions are, to say the least, demanding. The traveling and hoistway cables that power these elevators were specially made by Draka Elevator. In fact, not only did our cabling meet these challenges, our harnessing and connectorization solutions made the installation far more efficient.
